Deborah
McMasters' life was full of misery. She’d lost her
beloved father to a war brought about by a half-crazed British tyrant. It was hard not to resent her family who
had fled to the very land where the tyrant reined
supreme.
She lives with
danger, having chosen to remain behind in America,
alone, to continue where her father left off ―
championing the fight for independence.
Unjustly
rejected by the general whom she had trusted and served
faithfully; McMasters has little choice but to rejoin
her family in a country she detests ... England.
Little would Deborah realize, upon making
this dreaded move, that she would encounter a new type
of danger, as well as a mystery, for she was to soon
meet a man who would capture her interest as well as her
heart.
